From the time when the brilliant minds of Dr Rassman, Dr Bernstein and Dr Woods came up with the initial concept of follicular unit extraction or FUE, there has been a lot of development in the field. Today, transplant has become an extremely popular domain and a growing number of young doctors and medical students are looking at trichology and hair transplant as a possible as well as promising career.
At AK Clinics, we not only aim at offering some of the finest hair transplant and restoration services to clients, but also educate those who come to us seeking knowledge. Our panel of doctors are members of the esteemed ISHRS or International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, which means that they are constantly in touch with the latest innovations as well as the pioneers in the field.
This is why we have put together a range of training programs, which cater to the needs of those who come to this temple of learning, healing and restoration. As a matter of fact, our training programs are so thorough that once through; doctors will be able to set up their very own hair transplant clinics.
Our hair transplant training program includes
- On-site training for doctors at AK Clinics
- List of equipment that will be required to set up the clinic
- Advice on how to set up the clinic
- Complete assistance for six months with consultations via email – however, this facility is offered only to those attending the one or two and a half month programs.
Basic Observation of procedures being carried out at the clinic can be done for a period of 1 week depending upon the availability of the patients in the clinic
Hair Restoration Observation
Observation of the following aspects of hair restoration surgery:
- FUE surgery
- Patient counseling
- Pre-operative work up, pre-op medication, Post op instructions and medicine
- Hair line designing
- Beard and other body hair Excision
- PRP, Meso therapy and Laser Helmet for Alopecia management
- SMP – Scalp Micro-pigmentation
Cosmetology
Observation of the following:
- MDA
- Chemical Peels I: Salicylic acid peel, Glycolic acid peel, TCA Peel, Lactic Peel, Argi peel
- Chemical Peels II: Yellow Peel, Black Peels, Combination Peels
- Laser Hair Removal: Diode
- Q-switch NdYAG Laser
- RFA for mole, skin tags, wart, DPN removal
- CO2 Laser: Fractional Ultra pulse and Conventional
- Derma Roller
- MNRF
- PRP as anti-ageing (Vampire lift), Scars, stretch marks, etc
- Injectables: Botox& Fillers
- Threads: Mono Threads, Cog Threads
- Combination treatments with various modalities
Non-Surgical Skin tightening and Body Shaping
Observation of the following:
- RF + Ultra sound for face tightening
- RF + Ultra sound for Double chin reduction
- RF + Ultra sound + Mesolipolytic Injections for cellulite reduction body shaping andcontouring: Jelly arm, belly fat, thighs.
Cost: INR: 50,000 + 18% GST ( Non negotiable)
- Basic Observation of procedures being carried out at the clinic can be done for a period of 1 month depending upon the availability of the patients in the clinic
- Practice of excision & implantation of grafts on models
HAIR RESTORATION
Observation of the following aspects of hair restoration surgery:
- Patient selection and counselling
- Pre-operative work up, pre-op medication
- Instruments used in FUE
- Hair line designing
- Implantation by various methods
- Anesthesia in Hair transplant: Scalp, beard and chest
- Beard and other body hair Excision
- Post-operative care

- Surgical management of Alopecia – Overview of FUE
- Body hair transplants
- PRP, Meso therapy and Laser Helmet for Alopecia management

Range of Stipend
- After 03 months Rs-60000 /- per month to 80000/- per month.
- After 06 months Rs- 80000/- per month to 01 Lac per month.
