What are the side effects of a strip method hair transplant?

Que: I have already have had an FUE surgery, but now I am looking at another transplant. This time, however, I am thinking of an FUT, because it will be easier on my pocket. My transplant surgeon suggested that I not go for the same, because I have poor scalp laxity, and this could lead to chronic tension headaches. Is my doctor right and if I go for an FUT, what could go wrong?

Ans: Usually, an FUT or strip surgery can be done after an FUE, but the decision will be dependent on the condition of the donor area. If the scalp has lost its laxity or there is too much scarring in the donor area, then there could be a problem. In case these problems can be overcome, then, in theory, a strip procedure could be possible. However, the doctor performing the procedure would be the best judge.
