January 1, 2016: Dr Kapil Dua, Chairman AK Clinics, assumed the office of President of Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons of India. He is the first doctor to assume this office from North India. He succeeded Dr. Narendra Patwardhan from Pune.

Along with him Dr. K. Ramachandran from Chennai has been assumed office as Vice President, Dr. Lakshyajit D. Dhami from Mumbai as Treasurer and Dr Anil Garg from Indore as Secretary. The entire team of AK Clinics is very excited regarding the same.
Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons of India (AHRS India) was established in 2008 with agenda of progress in the field of hair restoration in India. There are 15 members in the governing council. The membership is now spreading quicker than ever.
Dr Kapil Dua said; “It will be one of our prime agenda to encourage training in the field of Hair Restoration & regularize the hair restoration practices in the country.” He is also member of FUE Research Committee, ISHRS (USA) and Board of Governors, AAHRS Asia.
